The first Tuesday of every month we drop off food parcels to local lodges. We have developed great relationships with the residents there. Every Wednesday, we host a lunch in the Urban Cafe to bless our neighbours and local residents. We’d love you to join us, so why not come down? We meet at 11am to pray together and help prepare the food, or just come along from 12pm onwards for good food and great conversation. Nourish is a food bank run by Urban Vineyard Church. Every week, our Nourish team provide food bags, full of delicious goodies for anyone who has need. These bags are located along the rear wall of the church. Please feel free to take one or two for yourself, or grab one for a friend or neighbour.
If you would like to contribute some food, please leave any nonperishable items in the baskets in the Cafe.
Every Friday we run a café for International students. Its an opportunity to become friends with people from other countries, and support them while they are living in NZ. We meet at Urban at 7pm, feel free just to turn up. For more information, contact Cameron Webster 0210769529.
Mainly Music (movement and music for preschoolers and their mums/dads) is held in the Grey Lynn Library Hall on Wednesday mornings from 10am till 11am. For more information contact Howie or April.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to come and connect with other mums/caregivers over a coffee while your children play in an organised and structured environment! There are awesome art and craft activities, along with various play areas, and a structured mat time that includes storybooks, songs, and rhymes each week. Cost $1 per child, under 6 months free.
