Working together with parents to equip and enthuse Urban Vineyard’s kids to become authentic followers of Jesus.
At Treasure Seekers we aim to inspire our kids to be on fire for Jesus. We act deliberately in teaching about Jesus, the bible, and how to live a life following Jesus. Mixing loads of fun with biblical teachings is one of our goals at Treasure Seekers and we want our kids to be chatting with their friends enthusiastically about church.
We have designed a dynamic programme that is engaging and incorporates a relevant context to meet the needs of our kiwi kids at Treasure Seekers. There are programmes in place for children of all ages ranging from pre-school to primary school kids targeting their specific age groups running at our 10.15am service.
For safety, we require all children to be registered for Treasure Seekers and will be marked on a roll as they attend each Sunday. At the conclusion of the service your child/children will be brought back into the auditorium to be with you.
The Hive (Creche 0-2 year olds) is a nurturing space with a relaxed setting that includes couches and a live televised feed of the service. The Hive is equipped with loads of fun toys accompanied by child minders each Sunday. There is also a connecting room that can be used for feeding along with baby changing facilities and a televised live feed of the service also. There is also a sleeping room with a cot available for your convenience.
Pirate Island (3-4 year olds) is a vibrant room with great toys and hands on activities focused on making learning about God fun. Please feel free to stay with your child and take part in the activities with them.
Hooks Hideaway (5-8 year olds) and Blackbeards Cabin (9-12 year olds) have loads of fun mixed with engaging programmes that inspire kids to live a life following Jesus.
